Privacy for website visitors and insurance enquiries.

This notice describes the information flow when you read this website or follow its booking link.

Reading the site

Folsom Risk provides informational pages without a website quote form, file-upload tool, or account sign-in. Hosting services may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, browser details, and the page requested, to deliver and protect the site.

Usage analytics

The site runs PostHog analytics. PostHog logs page views, clicks, and use of the scheduling link, along with the IP address, browser details, and referrer sent by your browser, and it keeps an identifier in browser storage to tell visits apart. We use the reports to understand which SaaS and startup insurance questions visitors follow. Processing by PostHog is subject to its privacy terms.

Using the calendar

The booking link takes you to Cal.com, where you choose a meeting and provide information requested by the scheduling service. That service operates under its own privacy terms. The meeting organizer receives the scheduling details you submit.

Share only the details needed to arrange the conversation. Do not place credentials, financial account information, personal identifiers, or sensitive documents in booking notes.

Preparing your software insurance account

Insurance procurement arising from a Folsom Risk introduction is performed by Spot and its brokerage partners. Information provided for an engagement may be used to understand the business, arrange follow-up, prepare submissions, and seek insurance options. Relevant information may be shared with participants needed for that work.

Third-party services

The site requests its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when your browser retrieves them. Links to educational references and the calendar open services with their own information practices. Review those services’ notices before providing information.

Requests about your account records

Ask the meeting organizer or the procurement contact handling your engagement about access, corrections, retention, or deletion of information you supplied. Applicable retention obligations and the role of each recipient may affect what can be changed or removed.
